Engine: Extremely Fuel Efficient. developed in joint venture between Detroit Diesel and MTU. Serviced throughout the world by Both organizations service outlets. Rugged and reliable Detroit Diesel/MTU water-cooled diesel engines, 4-stroke, indirect injection with standard equipment:
- - 24V electric start and battery charging alternator
- - Radiator, blower fan and guards
- - Dry type paper element air cleaner
- - Engine mounted medium grade exhaust silencer
- - Control Panel - Standard with Microprocessor control, digital AC voltmeter, AC ammeter, frequency meter, Engine shutdowns for low oil pressure, high coolant temp, low water level, overspeed and overcrank. Display of oil pressure, water temperature, fuel level, hour meter and battery voltage. Also includes emergency stop button and internal clock.
