These air cooled generators are typically disposable with a useful life of less than 3000 hours; fuel consumption is also very high compared to our industrial generators. Our industrial generators are liquid cooled 1800 rpm General Motors automotive engines with useful lifetimes up to 8,000 hours before overhaul. So if your installation experiences long period of power outages or backs up critical application (life safety) these products are well worth your consideration.
